When we founded Hinterlands in November 1997 our desire was to provide leading IT services for local businesses. We achieved this in a short period of time and business performed well attracting a large number of clients who valued our friendly and affordable services.
As early as February 1998 it was clear that clients were looking for more than “someone to fix their PC”. After the peak of the dot com boom the Internet began to mature into a powerful business tool, the once famous "Internet" quickly became a simple part of everyone's lives. As coincidence would have it, Hinterlands had started developing a number websites and CGI programs. Link this together with client demand, and it only seemed logical for us to concentrate our business efforts into a growing industry.
In the few years following this transition, business boomed, even during the dot com recession we continued growing steadily attracting a new exciting clients who provided us with interesting challenges. We quickly out grew our office in Galston and moved to a larger office in Castle Hill and with our continued expansion later in 2000 we moved into the Hill Corporate Centre in Norwest Business Park. In 2005 Hinterlands won the Hills Excellence Award for Innovation / Technology.
Towards the end of 2006 Hinterlands moved to a new office in Sky City located in Norwest Business Park - one of NSW fastest growing business districts.
Today Hinterlands is a professional software consultancy, offering award winning software solutions in business application, internet content management, ecommerce, e-procurement, e-retailing, customer relations management and rich internet applications.
